Badger Volleyball
It's Go Time!
Practice Rules:
Before Practice:
Leave personal issues at the door. Volleyball Time is Volleyball Time!
Nets are put up and ready to go by the beginning of practice.
Be dressed & ready to step on the court when practice is schedule to start.
Bring a water bottle to practice. (Water Breaks are only 1 minute long and that’s not enough time to wait in line for water.)
Missed practices will be cause for loss of playing time.
No Talking once a coach walks into the 'Corner-Up'
Run Everywhere-No Walking. This means when shagging balls; rotating drills; getting drinks; EVERYWHERE!
Shag Balls all the time. We don’t want a ball rolling under somebody
causing them to be injured.
100% Effort. Effort is the only way we get better!
Respect your teammates and coaches.
No display of frustration. We must be able to control our emotions.
Playing time is earned; never given.
This is a school sport, not the YMCA.
Practices are not optional and must be attended. This includes weekend tournaments & practices. Missed practices will be cause for reduced playing time. Multiple misses may result in suspension from the team. Conversely, attendance at practices does not guarantee that your athlete will have equal playing time. It just means your athlete is eligible to participate.
Occasionally there is a Dr. appointment that must be made, try hard to make these appointments for when they won't interfere with practices.
If you have questions regarding playing time the athlete must approach the coach to discuss what must be done in order for them to be on the court more. Per school policy.

Always remember:
You are representing something
bigger than yourself. Everything you do
is a reflection on the volleyball program, your teammates, your school, your
parents and yourself.
First and formost:
Be a good student.
