I'm so proud of everyone involved with Badger volleyball. I coached Bennington roughly 10 years from 1993' to 2003'. When the current team was in elementary I knew this group may be special. I also knew Coach Romans was passionate about volleyball and could help take this team to a new level. You play the type of schedule that now makes BHS competitive on a state level. Just a little history of the program. The last time we made it to state was 1995'. We went 19-4 that season. Dee Hoge, Brenda Blacketer, Connie Burgers, Carol Lukowski were coaches then. When softball arrived in 96' or 97', our volleyball program lost about half it's players. This is why I'm so proud to see that a great volleyball program and softball program now co-exist. Good Luck Coach Romans and girls! Take all of your "Moments of Greatness" and bring them together to show everyone you deserve to be the top in the state! I believe when you play as a team there is nobody better. Individual stats are nice but they don't bring the championships.
